In the previous couple of years I have had the advantage of taking a trip to over thirty countries for my work. Lots of people tell me that I have a dream job, and I 'd have to concur. When I was a youngster, nobody informed me that there were tasks offered that you got to write and travel the world about the things you saw and experienced for other people to read. If they had informed me, I would have understood my career goal the whole time. I would have been the only primary school kid who knew without a doubt that he wished to be a taking a trip journalist. A highlight of my journeys has been collecting a bowl or 2 at each location I've visited.
I've constantly liked bowls and pottery. I guess it began because my daddy was a professional potter therefore he was always at the wheel throwing pots and bowls and other things. I enjoyed getting back from school and costs hours simply viewing my daddy work on his wheel. I like every type of pottery he made, however nothing might delight me as much as a terrific bowl.
When I started traveling it was just natural that I would gather a bowl or 2 in each location here I saw. Due to the fact that I knew they were something that I liked and that I could put to good use every day, I wanted to collect bowls. I hate getting souveniers that I can not put to good use. When I landed in England, the first nation I visited, I was amazed by how many bowls there were to select from. I knew it was going to be more difficult than I believed to narrow things down to no greater than 2 bowls per country.
I have 2 large racks in my house where bowl after bowl sits waiting for use. I am continuously turning the bowls I use for cereal and salads and other things.
I suggest that you select an excellent souvenier idea ahead of time if you are about to venture out into the world for taking a trip. For me, buying a bowl or 2 has actually worked. If it may work for you too, see.
